An AI video can have the right character but the wrong movement. The camera may move differently from what you asked for. A product can change shape. A face or background detail can also shift between generations.
Those retries are part of the real cost of using a free AI video generator. Dreamina says a new generation can consume credits, so you should not assume that regenerating a clip is free.
What you get from Seedance 2.0
Seedance 2.0 is more than a text-to-video model. ByteDance’s official documentation says it accepts text, images, video and audio as inputs. You can combine up to nine images, three video clips and three audio clips with your instructions as reference material.
It can also generate up to 15 seconds of audio-video content in a single generation and supports multi-shot output. The model can use reference material for things such as composition, movement, camera direction and sound.
That matters if you are trying to keep a character, product or visual style consistent. Instead of describing every detail from scratch, you can give Seedance material to work from.
ByteDance also acknowledges that Seedance 2.0 still has areas that need improvement, including detail stability, hyper-realism, multi-subject consistency and text rendering.
How to stretch the 120 daily credits
Test one scene first
Do not use your first generation for an entire advert, music video or short film.
Start with one shot. See whether the character, setting, movement and camera direction are working before spending more credits on the rest.
Use references when they actually help
If you need a particular character, product or location, prepare the reference material before generating. Seedance 2.0 is designed to use several types of reference material, but that does not mean every detail will remain perfect in every result.
Fix the problem instead of rewriting everything
If the character looks right but the camera movement is wrong, change the camera instruction.
If the movement is good but the subject keeps changing, strengthen the reference instructions.
There is little point in throwing away a good prompt and starting again when only one part of the generation needs changing.
Check the credit cost before you generate
This is the habit that will save you the most credits.
Dreamina says the cost can change according to the model, duration, resolution, generation mode, reference setup and additional features. Check the number displayed in the creation interface rather than relying on a credit figure from an older article or video.
What about Seedance 2.5?
If you are seeing Seedance 2.5 in Dreamina, do not assume it uses the same capabilities as Seedance 2.0.
Seedance 2.5 is the newer model. ByteDance says it can generate up to 30 seconds in one generation and supports larger multimodal reference sets than Seedance 2.0. Its official documentation also highlights more precise editing, green-screen work and camera-perspective controls.

What does Dreamina cost if 120 credits are not enough?
Dreamina currently lists its Basic plan at $15 per month with 1,575 credits. The plan also lists benefits such as watermark removal, longer video generation, higher resolution and frame rates of up to 60 FPS.
Dreamina is also currently showing promotional pricing on some pages, so the amount displayed to you may differ from the standard monthly price. Its pricing page says users should check the current plans and billing options before subscribing.

Is Dreamina’s free plan worth using?
Yes, if your goal is to test the model, make occasional clips or learn how Seedance works.
The 120 daily credits give you room to experiment without committing to a subscription. But if you are producing a project that requires many versions of each shot, the allowance can disappear quickly because every new generation draws from your available credits.
So the useful question is not really, “How many videos does Dreamina give me for free?” It is, “How many worthwhile attempts can I make with today’s 120 credits?”
For casual testing, that is a reasonable free allowance. For regular AI video production, you will probably need more credits.
